About Me

Argyle is a gentle, shy sweetheart with a soft spirit and a heart that’s slowly blossoming in foster care. She came from a property with over 30 cats, and despite her cautious nature, she has worked so hard on trusting people — and it shows. Once Argyle knows you’re safe, she leans so hard into pets that she’ll stand up on her hind legs like a tiny pony just to nuzzle your hand.

She loves being near other cats, enjoys quiet company, and is still learning that being picked up can actually be nice — with patience and kindness, she’s getting braver every day. Her confidence truly shines when she has a feline friend nearby, and she adores cozy perches, CatTV, and wet food treats.

Personality

Sweet, shy, cautious, gentle, affectionate once comfortable.

Ideal Home

Argyle would thrive in a calm, quiet home with at least one other friendly cat. She currently does wonderfully with her co-foster Poplarfield (male), and she would love a companion like him in her forever family. A patient adopter who understands shy cats and can help her continue to grow will be perfect for her.

Fun Fact

This sweet girl came from a massive group of 30+ cats — and despite her shy start, she’s made incredible progress and is discovering how lovely human affection can be.

Additional Notes:
Argyle is still learning that being held is nice. She’s not quite there yet, but with patience and slow, positive experiences, she’s getting more comfortable every day.
