Riley is a laid-back, easygoing boy with a charming “old man” personality. He loves spending his days lounging on the couch, watching the world go by from the window, and enjoying the simple things in life.
He’s also got a playful side and enjoys running around outside when given the chance. Riley is a great companion who is happiest just being near his people.

Ideal Home

Riley would love a home with a yard or opportunities to get outside and stretch his legs. A cozy couch or bed to sprawl out on is a must, along with windows where he can keep an eye on the neighborhood. He would do best with a family that understands his quirks and can continue working with him.

• Riley loves sleeping on his back and taking up all the space

• He does a little “yoga stretch” when waking up from naps

• Knows commands like sit, shake a paw, lay down, and high-five

Riley can experience some separation anxiety and may whine when left alone. He’s also a bit of a curious explorer and may try to wander if given the chance, so a secure environment is important. Being a tall boy, he may counter-surf if food is left out! He can be a little stubborn at times, but that just adds to his personality.
