Shoal

DOB: May 29, 2025

Sex: Female

Good with kids: Yes, though she nips a little more than most kittens. She’s improving with time and would do well with slightly older, cat-savvy kids while she learns.

Good with dogs: Yes—with slow introductions. She briefly met two big dogs and did well, showing she could happily adapt to a canine sibling.

Good with cats: Absolutely! She adores her foster sibling Standford and even tries to befriend the grouchy resident cat.

About Me

Shoal is a playful, curious, and brave little kitten who loves her toys—especially her mouse, wand toy, climbing tree, springs, and even “non-cat toys” like chapstick tubes and bottle caps. After a big play session, she curls up on her soft blanket, kneading and suckling until she drifts off to sleep. She’s full of adorable quirks, like making little trills when she’s excited and zooming around with a favorite toy in her mouth.

Ideal Home

Shoal would thrive in a home with another pet or child to keep her company. She needs a tall cat tree for climbing, plenty of playtime, and a cozy blanket for her post-play snuggles. A patient home that can help her continue learning gentle play (less nipping) will be perfect for her.

Fun Fact

Shoal often falls asleep with a blanket in her mouth—or sitting up in the funniest positions! Her motto? Play hard, sleep hard.
